Zur Person

Olga ist seit 2015 akademische Rätin an der Professur für Environmental Governance der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. Sie studierte Soziologie und Sozialanthropologie an der Staatlichen Universität St. Petersburg, Russland und an der Central European University in Budapest, Ungarn. Sie promovierte 2009 am Max-Planck-Institut für Gesellschaftsforschung in Köln. Danach war sie bis 2015 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Technischen Universität München und im Jahr 2014 als Gastwissenschaftlerin an der Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies tätig.

Sie forscht zu Fragen transnationaler Governance von natürlichen Ressourcen und untersucht die Interaktion von transnationalen Akteuren der Zivilgesellschaft und Wirtschaft zur Steuerung der Nutzung und des Managements von Wäldern und Böden.
