Policy Entrepreneurship and ‘Power With’ to Scale-Up Innovations

The applicant plans to further develop her conceptual work by linking it to theoretical and empirical studies done at the host institution, the Department of Environmental Policy Analysis, VU Amsterdam. The aim is to further develop the applicant’s concept of ‘power with’ (collective empowerment through learning) based on studies of policy entrepreneurship, experimentation and learning. References will be made to political science and transition management literature. The reason for choosing the host institution is the particular focus on these fields of research (policy entrepreneurship,experimentation and learning) at the cross-road of political science and interdisciplinary transition management research.
